In the last class, we had CWT, Courses Wide Test, about the argument. I had had kind of confidence, but I wasn’t able to get a good score. Anyway, it’s a good chance to review!
1. Hasty generalization
I
had recognized it as a fallacy comes from limited information. However, one of
my section mate told me that it especially comes from personal experiences
after the test. Now I can clearly identify Hasty generalization.
2. Inductive & Deductive
Dan
said that it was hard for him to identify the difference between inductive and
deductive, so I’ll write about it.
Inductive means to lead a general rule from individual examples.
Deductive means to presume similar examples
from one example.
Now,
I’m more confident in the argument!
